Co-Founder & Optometrist

I am a registered Ophthalmic Dispenser and a Clinical Optometrist with 20 years of experience. I have a Minor Eye Care Service (MECS) qualification and have a special interest in general eyecare diseases especially Dry Eye, Glaucoma, Age Related Macula Degeneration, and Cataracts. I have a keen eye for new developments and am passionate about helping reduce and control the Myopic (short-sighted) pandemic.
I enjoy family time with my lovely wife and four children, and my two cats - I can't forget them.

I am one half of Eyecare Express. I graduated from City University, London in 2007 and have been practicing ever since. I've worked for all the large multiples including Vision Express, Specsavers, Boots, Asda, Scrivens, Leighton's opticians as well as numerous independent opticians. My hobbies are traveling with my wife and children and learning about life. I love the satisfactory feeling I get when I can help someone with their eyesight and as such I hope to push the charity endeavours of Eyecare Express to the next level.

I’m Tracey and I’m the Optical advisor and Receptionist. I’ve worked at Eyecare Express since our Grand Opening and love my job. People say it has a real family and community feel and they are at ease with us. I love that and the satisfaction I get when someone tells me they love how their glasses make them feel and they can see clearly. Their happiness makes me happy. My hobbies are holidaying with my family and socialising with all my friends.

I’m Maryam and I am the Optical Assistant Apprentice at Eyecare Express. I am an experienced and dedicated young woman, always eager to tackle new challenges in any field.

 am an Optical Advisor and optometrist in training, I've been part of the amazing Eyecare Express team since the second month of our opening; it's been enriching to see first-hand the practice's growth and success. With a background in optics, I can confidently say that Eyecare Express stands out for its genuine care and family-like treatment of patients.  The best thing about my job is the interaction with people and seeing them leave with a bright smile, having gained confidence with clearer vision in their new stylish frames.
